opportunities in northern aviation? Join our “Intro to Northern Aviation Operations” program!

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:


Duration:

  • 4 weeks in-class and hands-on training
  • 4 weeks of paid work experience (for qualifying participants)
  • The program is a mix of classroom and experiential learning
  • Familiarization flights
  • In-depth modules on northern aviation challenges.
  • Networking opportunities with industry experts and guest speakers.
  • No tuition is required for MB residents
  • Training materials are provided for accepted students.
  • Experienced program mentor to support student success.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Are interested in the exciting field of northern aviation.
  • Seeking entry-level employment opportunities.
  • Aspiring pilots, flight attendants, Aircraft Maintenance
  • Indigenous youth ages 18-29 will be given preference, but everyone is welcome to apply.

Outcomes:

  • Work Readiness Skills – potential employment offers.
  • The program’s graduates will be accredited with a joint certificate, which provides credentialsrecognized by the Aviation industry.
  • Achieve your Radio license from Transport Canada.
  • Students will gain transferable skills that are applicable across various sectors within Aviation and extend to industries beyond.
