Mining Fundamentals Training 2025

The Northern Manitoba Sector Council together with Mosakahiken Cree Nation and Opaskwayak Cree Nation are seeking people 18 and over that are interested in applying for a five (5) week paid training to employment program with Hudbay. Those successful applicants may be hired at Hudbay upon completion of training.

LOCATION OF TRAINING:

• Training to be held at Wescana Inn in The Pas Manitoba
• Candidates may be required to stay in Lalor Camp facilities during training

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years + over
• Must have valid Identification
• Must have a Banking information / Account Ability to commute / reliable transportation Able to do shift work (7 days on 7 days off)
• Must be able to work alternate days and nights
• First Nation candidates are preferred

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Successful candidates will be screened with current Application and Resume
• Will undergo an assessment as part of the screening process, prior to interview Have current resume completed upon application process
