Hudbay/Cross Lake Projects

Between March and May 2019; 12 Cross Lake residents participated in 10 weeks of training that included Life Skills, Essential Skills and Industry specific skills. All 12 participants  leading to full time employment with Hudbay at their mine and mill operations in Snow Lake.

The Northern Manitoba Sector Council coordinated the project activities with partners including; Cross Lake Band; Hudbay; MB Industry Training and Employment Services; University College of the North/Northern Manitoba Mining Academy and Workplace Education Manitoba
